Create An Account

To create an account choose the more button. Then choose account -> create account. Input the data for each of the fields then use the save button to save the record to core data on the phone.

Create Homes

To create a home record choose the home button, then choose create home. The account number that was created previously will automatically be selected. Input the data for each of the fields then use the save button to save the record to core data on the phone.

Create the Rooms of the Home

To create a room record choose the room button. Then choose manage rooms. Click on the house text field to choose the house that you would like to add the room to. Input the data for each of the fields then use the save button to save the record to core data on the phone.

Create Renovation Tasks for Each Room

The tasks represent the labor of each part of the renovation of a home. You input it from the main room page by selecting the manage room tasks link. Choose the house and room that you would like to create the task for. Provide your estimate for the hours and the hourly rate then click on the save button to save the record to the core data on the phone.

Create Materials

To create a material record choose the materials button. Then choose create materials. Input the data for each of the fields then use the save button to save the record to core data on the phone. Once a material has been created, it can be added to a room to document the material costs for the tasks of that room. Do this by navigating to the room page, then select manage room materials. Choose the house, room, and task that you would like to add the material to. Use the save button to save the room material record to core data on the phone.

Output the Renovation Estimate

To output the renovation estimate, choose the summary button. If homes have been created along with rooms, tasks, and materials, a list of homes will be displayed in the next page. Choose the home that you would like to output the estimate for. The summary will then be displayed that you can then choose to email the pdf form to the client.

Editing Records

If you would like to edit a record you can do so from the list of records. After displaying records standard iOS functionality can be used to edit a record from a list by selecting the row you want to eidt, you will then segueue to a detail page for that record. Update all of the fields that you would like, then save and navigate back to where you want to go in the application.

Deleting Records

If you would like to delete a record you can do so from the list of records. After displaying records standard iOS functionality can be used to delete a record from a list by selecting the row you want to delete, drag it to the left and then click on the delete button that appears on the right of the row. This works the same for all master data except for materials. In the case of materials after listing the records, you select the edit button from the top right of the page. This will add radio buttons to each record so that you can select and delete multiple records at one time.
